(A) Essential Job Functions:
The Design Engineer is responsible, but not limited to, the following:
- Coordination of civil/structural works for construction.
- To attend meetings with client, subcontractors and consultants, etc.
- Attend to site issues, ensuring timely response of RFI, coordinate CO substantiations, material costing and estimation.
- Liaise closely with internal and external parties as well as the authorities to resolve structural design discrepancies and construction issues.
- Coordinate with consultants an liaise with authorities for updates and submissions of project design.
- Manage and resolve production, quality, design & engineering and schedule issues.
- Liaise and coordinate with other stakeholders and consultants on the design and technical issues relating to temporary works.
(B) Minimum Qualifications/ Job Experience:
- Minimum Degree holder in Civil/Structural Engineering or Geotechnical Engineering or its equivalent.
- At least 3 years of engineering experience in the Construction industry.
