Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepare the equipment list
- Prepare the specification and data sheet as per codes / standards, project and client's requirement, for pump, loading arm, lifting cranes, marine gangway, air compressor, nitrogen package, hot oil package, oily water system, vapor recovery system and etc equipment for Oil & Gas industries
- Prepare the specification and data sheet for cryogenic pump, BOG compressor, condenser, LPG heater, seawater strainer, flare and etc equipment for LPG industries
- Prepare the requisition and RFQ documents for vendor enquiry
- Prepare the technical clarification and technical bid evaluation of vendor proposal
- Review and check the drawings, designs specification, materials and equipment from vendor for conformity with project technical requirements
- To liaise effectively with vendor and inter-departments to resolve engineering technical issue
- To resolve and response to client comment.
- Prepare information drawing for interface design work whenever is necessary
- Prepare bill of material for cost estimation of bid project
- Provide engineering support for the equipment installation and commissioning activities at site
- Provide engineering support for maintenance works.
- To carry out any other duties as and when assigned by the immediate supervisor or principle engineer
Qualification & Experience Generally Required
- Bachelor Degree in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
- Minimum one year of engineering experience in mechanical disciplines in Oil & Gas and Petrochemical industries.
- Experienced in equipment engineering specifications and standards
- Familiar with industrial standards and local codes
- Strong communication skills and the ability to stay organised and multi-task
- Proficient in using MS Word, Excel, Autocad
