Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Design Engineer (Mechanical) to join our innovative team in the factory automation sector. This role is ideal for a self-driven individual with a strong mechanical engineering foundation and a passion for designing practical, real-world automation solutions.
As part of our engineering team, you will contribute to the development of mechanical systems and components using industry-standard tools such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD, and collaborate across departments to bring designs from concept to production.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop mechanical systems and components for factory automation projects.
- Create accurate 3D models and detailed 2D engineering drawings using SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Work collaboratively with electrical, software, and production teams throughout the design and manufacturing process.
- Support fabrication, assembly, and troubleshooting during product realization.
- Ensure all designs meet functional, safety, and industry compliance standards.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive design documentation and revision records.
- Continuously evaluate and improve existing designs to drive innovation and efficiency.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Associate's degree, Diploma, or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of mechanical design experience, preferably in factory automation.
- Proficient in SolidWorks and AutoCAD.
- Hands-on experience in mechanical part design, fabrication, and assembly.
- Strong grasp of engineering fundamentals and design for manufacturability.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects independently and meet deadlines.
- Creative thinker with a detail-oriented and problem-solving mindset.
