Design Engineer

About the role

This is an exciting opportunity to join the team at Enecal Pte Ltd as a Design Engineer. In this full-time role based in the Tuas West Region, you will play a crucial part in the engineering and design processes that drive the company's innovative solutions.

What you'll be doing

1. Support in expansion of the current product lines through participation in design and qualification/ validation of Wellhead and X'mas Tree Equipment in accordance with API Spec. 6A requirements.

2. Perform design calculation and analysis, as well as other forms of verification for the design.

3. Perform 3D modeling and drawing of component parts and assemblies.

4. Involve and attend design reviews - provide and accept constructive criticism to improve design.

5. Participate and involve in other design and development process (e.g. Downhole Completion & Turbular products)within the Group.

6. Provide technical supports to Sales, application, manufacturing, testing, customer service, procurement, etc.

7. Support in external audits, including certification and customer audits

8. Provide technical and application support to Group and Customers

9. Support Health, Safety & Environment culture and Quality Assurance and Control policies and processes for company and governing local regulations

10. Ad-Hoc task assign by company as necessary.

    
    What we're looking for

    1. Bachelor Degree in Engineering, preferably in Mechanical discipline.

    2. Candidate must have fundamental knowledge of API Spec. 6A and design calculation based on industrial codes/standard

    3. Prosses an aptitude for attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, strong team ethic ability to work autonomously under self-initiative and sense of personal accountability high level of organizational skills

    4. Proficient at SolidWorks, Autocad, FEA Analysis, EPDMS, Microsoft office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) knowledge of equivalent software is a benefit

    5. Proficient in both English and Chinese speaking/writing as to liaise with Chinese associates in China (having ability to interpret design and product documentation in duo-language)

    6. 2 - 3 years of oil & gas Wellhead and X'mas Tree design experience. Additional design experience in Downhole Completion Equipment is preferred.
