Job Responsibilities: Product Design & Development - Develop detailed technical drawings and design plans according to customer requirements and engineering calculations. - Conceptualize and design EQT products using both 2D and 3D CAD tools. - Ensure designs meet technical specifications and are optimized for functionality, manufacturability, and cost. - Participate in technical discussions with customers, providing guidance, solutions, and negotiating design requirements. - Coordinate mechanical and electrical testing to validate product components. - Validate the final design and application of the product prior to production. Engineering Analysis & Quality Support - Investigate and analyze quality issues; implement and track corrective actions. - Support Quality Focus Teams by performing root cause analysis and recommending solutions. - Evaluate the impact of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing on manufacturing processes and make necessary design adjustments. - Apply Finite Element Analysis to identify and resolve functional or manufacturing challenges. Innovation & Continuous Improvement - Identify opportunities to improve product designs and existing engineering processes. - Participate in the development of new technologies to improve product performance and reduce production costs. - Collaborate with the Engineering Manager to review current practices and recommend improvements. - ]Integrate quality principles and continuous improvement methodologies into design processes. - Work closely with cross-functional teams on improvement initiatives aligned with company objectives.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or higher in Mechanical, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering. - Minimum of 2 years&apos experience in product design and troubleshooting. - Proficient in SolidWorks and 3D CAD software. - Knowledge of FMEA, root cause analysis, GD&T, and FEA. - Skilled in Microsoft Office. - Familiarity with thermal/flow simulations and PDM systems (optional). - Knowledge of RF (Radio Frequency) principles is an advantage. - Strong analytical and conceptual thinking. - Effective problem-solving and technical decision-making. - Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills.
