Job Summary
Lead and coordinate detailed civil, structural, and geotechnical engineering designs while managing project execution and stakeholder engagement to ensure compliance and timely delivery of quality engineering solutions.
Responsibilities
- Review and coordinate detailed civil, structural, and geotechnical design deliverables to ensure accuracy and compliance with project requirements
- Manage project execution by liaising effectively with Clients, Client's Consultants, Contractors, and regulatory authorities to align project progress and resolve issues
- Collaborate with Authorized Persons (AC) and Qualified Persons (Design) (QP(D)) to secure all necessary permits and applications in accordance with BCA regulations, ensuring timely endorsement aligned with project milestones
- Verify design calculations to confirm structural integrity and compliance with engineering standards
- Lead the review of Contractor submissions related to Temporary and Permanent Works, coordinating with Qualified Persons (Structural) (QP(S)) and Contractor design teams to promptly resolve design-related issues and maintain project schedules
- Utilize engineering design software and analytical tools to support design analysis and problem-solving in civil and geotechnical engineering contexts
Required competencies and certifications
- Degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 3 years of relevant engineering experience in Singapore
- Proficient in engineering design software and analytical tools relevant to civil and geotechnical engineering
- Experience in analyzing soil-structure interactions and civil works design
