Work closely with senior engineers to carry out analysis, design, and delivery of civil and structural engineering works.
Perform detailed structural analysis and design to ensure engineering solutions are safe, practical, economical, and buildable.
Prepare sketches and coordinate with BIM modellers in the development of Revit/CAD drawings and models, including general arrangement, concrete outline, and reinforcement detailing drawings.
Manage and supervise drafting teams in the production of drawings for tender and construction.
Prepare, review, and maintain technical reports, engineering calculations, and design documentation.
Develop and maintain design calculation spreadsheets and engineering tools.
Support site inspections, engineering assessments, and technical investigations as required.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure timely completion of project deliverables and authority submissions/approvals.
Ensure compliance with relevant statutory regulations, client requirements, standards, and codes of practice.
Assist in obtaining approvals including permits to start work, authority approvals, as-built clearances, TOP, and CSC where applicable.
Guide and mentor junior engineers when required.
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline.
3–4 years of relevant experience in civil and structural design.
Experience in structural analysis and design.
Familiar with engineering analysis software (e.g., ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD.Pro, MIDAS, SOFiSTiK or equivalent).
Knowledge of relevant design codes and standards (Eurocodes, British Standards, or equivalent).
Experience with BIM tools (Revit/CAD) will be an advantage.
Strong ability to prepare and review technical reports, calculations, and drawings.
Good communication skills and ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams.
