Design Drafter

Job Description

. Draft detailed Alum Window and Door, based on preliminary concepts, sketches, Engineering calculations, specification sheets and other data.

. Obtain and assemble data to complete designs, visiting job sites to compile measurements as ncessary.

. Develop detailed design drawings and specifications, using computer-assisted drafting (CAD) equipment.

. Review and analyze specifications, sketches, drawings, ideas, and related data to assess factors affecting component designs, procedures and instructions to be followed.

. Compute mathematical formulas to develop and design detailed specifications for equipment and systems, using computer-assisted equipment.

. Modify and revise designs to correct operating deficiencies.

. Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:

. Preferably with Diploma/ Nitec in Mechanical/ Electrical/ Building Services Engineering/ Intelligent Building Technology

. Candidates without the necessary academic qualifications will also be considered based on project references.

. Confidence and Assertiveness with high degree of initiative and interpersonal skills.

. Preferably with 3-4 years experience in the construction industry of M&E or ACMV projects.

Remuneration will commensurate with qualifications and experience.
