Coordinate the design documentation process to ensure drawings and specifications are prepared, reviewed, and submitted in accordance with project schedules.
Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and internal departments to gather information, clarify design intent, and resolve technical discrepancies.
Track design submissions, approvals, and revisions using registers and logs, ensuring version control and document traceability.
Compile and organize drawings, specifications, and related documents for authority submission, tender, construction, and as-built purposes
Review drawings for completeness, consistency, and compliance with project requirements, flagging issues for the Design Manager's attention.
Coordinate responses to RFIs, design clarifications, and site queries to ensure timely resolution of technical matters during construction.
Facilitate and document design coordination meetings by preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
Ensure proper filing and documentation of all design materials in both electronic and hardcopy formats for easy access and reference.
Monitor the design program and highlight any delays or risks to the Design Manager for corrective action.
Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and authority requirements in all design submissions and drawings.
Coordinate internally with drafting teams to implement design changes, align drawings, and ensure drawing accuracy.
Participate in value engineering and design review exercises by consolidating information and preparing comparison documentation.
Communicate design updates to relevant project stakeholders, ensuring alignment between site works and design intent.
Job Requirement:
Diploma in Architectural/M&E discipline or equivalent
Minimum 6 years professional related experience
Prior ID experience in construction/fit-out/building industry
