Join a well-established main contractor with a strong portfolio of high-rise residential, commercial, and mixed-use developments. We are looking for aDesign Coordination Engineer (Civil)to play a key role in bridging design and construction, ensuring smooth execution from paper to reality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with consultants to ensure all design drawings meet regulatory requirements
- Review, resolve, and propose practical solutions to technical and design-related issues
- Plan, monitor, and report on the progress of shop drawing production
- Prepare technical submissions for materials, construction methods, and civil & structural (C&S) drawings
- Liaise effectively with Architectural, M&E teams, and relevant authorities to resolve site and design matters
- Supervise a team of BIM Modelers in producing coordinated shop drawings and Concrete Body Plans
- Participate in design input and technical support during the tendering phase for new projects
Requirement:
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering (or equivalent)
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in the construction industry
- Strong project background in building construction
- Hands-on experience in managing technical coordination and drawing production
