Design and Marketing intern

About the role

We are looking for a Design and Marketing intern that is creatively driven and innovative to produce creative works that represent the brand best, digitally and physically. In this role, you will be working closely with the Brand manager on executing Allozymes core initiatives for the year while learning the ropes of brand building. This will be a full-time 6 month internship (with the possibility of extension/converting to part-time)

You would be required to be available Monday - Friday (9AM-6PM), with a hybrid working environment.

What you'll be doing

• Assist in the development and execution of short-form video content for LinkedIn and other platforms
• Support the creation of visual content across digital channels (social media, presentations, campaigns, internal materials)
• Assist with design, layout, and basic art direction for brand and marketing assets
• Conduct market research and analysis to help inform brand strategy
• Provide administrative and project management support as needed
• Participate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas

What we're looking for

• Currently enrolled in a relevant degree program, such as Design, Marketing, Advertising, or Communications
• Familiar with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Experience with video editing
• Strong creativity and creative strategy skills to develop innovative and impactful concepts
• Experience or knowledge in branding to produce cohesive and visually appealing materials
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively to solve problems
• Comfortable using AI tools to enhance ideation, design, and content production

Nice to have

• Experience with animation
• Basic understanding of KOL (Key Opinion Leader) engagement and how creator-led content improves reach and credibility
