DERIVATIVES TRADER (FX)

Key responsibilities

- Mastery of foreign exchange market & products, especially on USDCNH (including spot, forward, swaps, options & cross currency swaps)

- Assist in managing house FX positions based on the understanding across multiple composition of business background

- Manage the book autonomously (within risk limits) ensuring the trading positions and strategies remain within the agreed risk and credit parameters, and identifying potential factors that may cause these parameters to be breached

- Generate positive P/L, and have a consistent proven track record of trade objective achievements

- Assist in negotiating ISDA's and clearing broker agreements, etc.

- Management of volatility risks in portfolios

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

- 3-5 years experience in FX and derivatives trading

- Proficiency in Mandarin to liaise effectively with Mandarin-speaking clients

- Strong knowledge of Derivatives-OTC FX and Exchange traded derivatives

- Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, especially those of high importance

- Strong problem solving skills and decision-making abilities

- Excellent team player and work well with others

- Strong with numbers

- Experience in managing FX house position preferred

- External: Clearing Brokers, Executing brokers, Exchanges

- External: OTC Counterparties, Banks
