Deputy Workshop Manager

Responsibilities:

• Assist Workshop Manager in managing the bus workshop and supplies store efficiently and effectively
• Manage and achieve the targets set for the workshop's key performance indicators
• Manage deployment of resources to optimise costs and enhance productivity
• Ensure workshop staff complies with all workshop procedures, safety regulations, directives and work instructions strictly
• Review and continually drive improvements in workshop operations with innovative ideas in order to enhance operational excellence

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or Engineering Diploma in relevant discipline or equivalent, with 5 years of relevant working experience
• Sound engineering knowledge and proficient in MS Office
• Committed, independent and highly motivated with drive
• Able to adapt and work independently under pressure in a fast paced environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
