Team Leadership and Management: Lead, mentor, and manage a team of three direct reports, including performance reviews and development planning, to ensure high performance and engagement.
Vendor Management: Oversee and manage relationships with external vendors to ensure service delivery, compliance, and strategic alignment for the Oracle Finance systems.
Strategic System Oversight: Develop and maintain the strategic roadmap for the Oracle Finance systems, ensuring alignment with the organization's critical finance functions and long-term technology goals.
Operational Excellence: Drive continuous improvement in the daily operations and support of the Oracle Finance systems to achieve exceptional reliability and service quality.
System Integrity and Security: Establish and enforce policies and procedures to maintain the integrity, stability, and security of the Oracle Finance systems and associated data.
Change Management: Effectively manage the entire change lifecycle for the finance systems, minimizing risk and ensuring successful implementation of enhancements, patches, and upgrades.
Architecture and Scalability: Define and manage the system architecture to ensure the Oracle Finance platform is scalable, robust, and can accommodate future business growth and technology requirements.
Capacity and Performance Management: Monitor, analyze, and optimize system capacity and performance to meet service level agreements and provide a seamless experience for finance users.
Financial Planning and Cost Control: Develop and manage the operational expenditure (Opex) budget (e.g., the $2M budget mentioned) for the finance systems, ensuring cost-effectiveness and maximizing return on investment.
Stakeholder Partnership: Collaborate closely with the finance department and other internal stakeholders to understand business needs and ensure the Oracle Finance systems effectively support and enable their critical functions.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
7+ years of Oracle Financials experience (preferably Fusion Cloud: GL, AP, AR, FA).
Proven leadership experience managing small technical/functional teams.
Experience managing enterprise finance system roadmaps and strategy.
Strong vendor and senior stakeholder management skills.
Hands-on experience with ITIL/ITSM practices and SLA management.
Experience managing system architecture, scalability, and performance optimization.
Track record in change/release management for mission-critical systems.
Budget management experience ( $1M Opex).
Strong finance and accounting domain knowledge.
Certifications Oracle Financials Cloud / OCP / ITIL, PMP or PRINCE2
CPA or ACCA (advantageous)
