Job description:
. Prepare progress reports and provide insight in budgets, construction, and other project activities
. Manage and be responsible for all aspects of construction works
. Close coordination with Main contractor, Design, Utility and stakeholders to ensure timely work completion
. Involve in the thorough review of method statements and risk assessment and technical submissions for structure construction and tunneling works for Client's approval
. Responsible for the safety, quality, progress and environment impact of the works
. Site project management
. Overall project planning, scheduling, monitoring and updating to meet project completion targets and prepare reports for submission to the Client
. Daily site activities planning, preparing work breakdown, daily site operations, site coordination, monitoring and reporting work progress
. Work closely with sub-contractors on project progress and ensure timely work arrangements
. Ensure that all the works are executed in accordance with approved Method Statement, Safety Procedure and Quality Methods
. Attend weekly or monthly meeting with sub-contractors on work progression and prepare monthly meeting progression report
. Ensure site safety & compliance to authorities requirements
. Arrange and conduct Daily Tool Box Talk, Control the labour force (or subcontractor)
. Perform other related duties as required by Management
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering
Deputy Tunnel Manager has at least 10 years tunnelling experience
Good computer skill to fulfil the job functions (Office365 and Auto-Cad, etc.)
Good knowledge of local authority requirements and engineering standards
Able to do shift work
Strong project management and leadership skills
Additional Information:
Salary will commensurate with working experience and qualifications
Able to start work within a short notice period will have an added advantage
