We are seeking an experienced Deputy Project Manager to support the Project Manager in overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution of oil and gas projects. The role involves managing project resources, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring project delivery in accordance with project schedule, scope, and budget.
Assist the Project Manager in coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the successful execution of projects.
Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Ensure proper resource availability and allocation for project activities.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans to track progress and milestones.
Manage relationships with clients and project stakeholders.
Perform risk management to identify and minimize project risks.
Establish and maintain relationships with subcontractors, suppliers, and vendors.
Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports.
Monitor project progress and report key updates to management.
Ensure compliance with company procedures, project requirements, and safety standards.
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Marine, or related discipline).
Minimum 10-15 years of experience in the Oil & Gas / EPC industry.
At least 5-7 years of experience in project management or project coordination roles.
Experience in offshore, pipeline, fabrication, or EPC projects preferred.
Familiar with project planning, scheduling, and cost control.
Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and project activities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
Experience with international standards such as ASME, API, ISO, or DNV will be an advantage.
PMP certification is preferred but not mandatory.
Candidates with offshore project experience will be an added advantage.
