Job Summary
Lead and manage commercial diving and ROV operations, ensuring compliance with laws and standards while overseeing risk management, team development, and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
- Lead and manage commercial diving and ROV operations teams to deliver safe, compliant underwater services.
- Plan, assess, and manage risks for diving jobs to ensure operational safety and regulatory compliance.
- Oversee resource allocation, diving systems, and equipment management for each operation to optimize performance.
- Support recruitment and development of operation team members to maintain and improve QHSE compliance standards.
- Organize and conduct regular operational meetings to align teams and report operational status to management.
- Prepare reports, method statements, and risk assessments collaboratively with QHSE, RA committee members.
- Foster effective communication and build harmonious working relationships within the organization.
- Apply knowledge of SS511:2018 and other relevant standards to maintain operational compliance.
- Utilize diving techniques, equipment handling, and procedures expertise to support specific diving jobs
- Certified and trained according to Singapore Standards SS511 or MOM-recognized international diving standards and Commercial Diving Competency Standards for inland/inshore diving supervisors issued by WSHC.
- Valid Occupational First Aid (OFA), Diver First Aid (DFA), and Diving Medical certificates from a MOM-recognized Hyperbaric Doctor.
- Completed risk assessment training (Risk Management course or equivalent)
- Working knowledge of SS511:2018 requirements.
- Relevant and compliant diving experience for various underwater services with leadership capability in diving operations. Knowledge or experience in ROV system is an advantage.
