Job Summary
This position will be working closely with the Managing Director, Japan HQ and external counterparts to develop and expand equity / debt investment business and ensure alignment of local strategies with the global vision of the HQ in Japan.
Job Description
- Lead and work with real estate team covering equity / debt investment business mainly in E.A./APAC region including Singapore, Australia and Korea
- Develop and maintain relationship with potential and existing asset managers to increase organization's revenue and profits
- Liaise/negotiate with Headquarters relevant departments for project development with Japanese-speaking counterparts and management
- Discussion with professionals such as lawyer, tax advisor, real estate agent, appraiser etc. to find a solution for ad-hoc issues and for executions of potential transactions
- Manage documentation with is executed in multi-national regions.
- Managing and collaborating with local hired staffs (including middle and back office and monitoring team.
- Establish KPIs and conduct performance evaluation of team members
- Lead / guide to nurture juniors.
- Ad-hoc task that may be assigned by superior.
Job Specifications
- Bachelor's Degree or higher in Real Estate, Business, Finance, Laws, or a related discipline
- At least 10-15 years of experience in real estate, structured finance or financing industry in similar capacity
- Team management skills and experience in Singapore or other region in real estate of finance industry
- Real estate investment management skills
- Capital markets and financing/treasury knowledge
- Structured finance and arrangement skills (preferred)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities (verbal and written) including presentation skills and stakeholder management capabilities
- Proactive and possess analytical, project management and logical thinking skills
- Enthusiastic team player with positive work attitude
- Able to work independently and under pressure in changing and cross-cultural environment
- Professional Japanese in both speaking and writing in-order to communicate with Japanese counterparts in Japan Headquarters
