Deputy Managing Director, Real Estate & Development

About the Client

Our client is an established and growing platform within the real estate and hospitality space, with a regional footprint across Asia. The business focuses on the development and management of hospitality and mixed-use assets, and is currently seeking a senior leader to drive its development pipeline and project execution capabilities.

Reporting to senior leadership, the Deputy Managing Director will lead the end-to-end development and execution of real estate projects across the region. This is a high-impact leadership role with a strong focus on project development, feasibility, and delivery, working closely with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders to bring projects from concept to completion.

About the Role

• Lead end-to-end real estate development projects, from site identification and feasibility studies through to completion and handover
• Drive project planning, design, and execution, ensuring delivery within timeline, budget, and quality standards
• Oversee financial modelling, investment analysis, and project feasibility to support decision-making and profitability
• Manage cross-functional teams and external stakeholders including architects, consultants, contractors, and government authorities
• Lead site acquisition, due diligence, and deal structuring for new development opportunities
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, permits, and approvals across different markets
• Identify and drive regional expansion opportunities, aligning development strategy with business growth objectives

About You

• Degree in Real Estate, Business, Engineering, or related field with extensive experience in real estate development and project management, ideally within hospitality or mixed-use projects
• Proven track record in delivering large-scale developments from concept through to completion
• Strong regional exposure across Asia, including China, with familiarity in regulatory environments and project execution
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, with experience in feasibility studies, investment analysis, and stakeholder management
