Newly Created Role as Deputy Finance Manager / Finance Manager (Fully Onsite Work Arrangements)

Our client is an established Healthcare business with HQ based in Singapore. In view of continued business expansion and growth opportunities, an opportunity has arisen for a new headcount as Deputy Finance Manager / Finance Manager.

With 5 to 8 years of solid cumulative experience including financial and management reporting as well as close partnership with finance operations teams; you will act as a trusted finance business partner supporting strategy, performance management, budgeting, forecasting, cash management, and cost/revenue analysis. You will work closely with business and operations teams to drive growth, cost discipline, process improvement, and informed decision-making.

Key Areas of Responsibilities:

Financial Management & Reporting

  • Manage month-end and year-end close; ensure timely, accurate financial and management reporting.
  • Prepare financial reports, analysis, and presentations for management and stakeholders.
  • Support budgeting, rolling forecasts, and variance analysis.
  • Monitor Capex and Opex for for various projects.
  • Manage internal and external audits.
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (including lease accounting).
  • Provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support decision-making and cost control.

Stakeholder & Finance Operations Partnership

  • Partner with operational teams to track performance and operating expenses.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders (including finance shared services) to ensure smooth financial operations and reporting.
  • Review and approve vendor invoices, payments, and purchase requisitions.
  • Perform assigned finance and administrative duties.

Systems & Process Improvement

  • Review and implement finance SOPs and work instructions.
  • Improve finance processes, controls, and operational efficiency.
  • Support finance systems implementations, enhancements, and change management.
  • Contribute to automation, digitalization, and other finance transformation initiatives.

Key Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, or professional accounting qualification.
  • 5 - 8 years experience in accounting, budgeting, forecasting, management reporting, and variance analysis.
  • Strong knowledge of finance systems, accounting processes, AP/AR, and accounting treatments.
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
  • Experience with SAP systems is a must, with data visualization tools advantageous.
  • Strong stakeholder management, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proactive, resilient, adaptable, and able to work independently and in teams.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
