Job Description

The Deputy M&E Director is responsible for the full coordination of M&E services; lead our own in-house M&E Production Team and Coordinators in ensuring smooth installation and maintenance of the project.

Job Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end delivery of data centre build, from planning and permitting through commissioning and handover, ensuring timeline, budget, and quality targets are met.
  • Manage and coordinate MEP scopes with all interfaces, services and trade.
  • Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution and alignment with objectives.
  • Monitor progress and quality through regular updates and collaboration with site teams or contractors.
  • Ensure safety standards and compliance are implemented across all project activities.
  • Act as the key liaison between internal stakeholders and external consultants to maintain clear communication and ensure consistent progress toward project milestones.
  • Facilitate and lead regular project progress meetings with consultants and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project objectives.
  • Manage the full procurement process for consultants, including drafting scopes, evaluating bids, and negotiating contracts.
  • Ensure all procurement activities comply with internal policies and governance & compliance frameworks.
  • Knowledge in BIM for design coordination.
  • Understand and participate in the implementation of Virtual Design Construction (VDC) concept.

Job Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering from a recognized University.
  • At least 15 years of proven M&E work experience with A1 main contractor, managing full-cycle large scale and complex buildings projects (e.g. Commercial Offices, Data Centers, Mixed-Development, Condominiums and etc).
  • Advanced knowledge, experience and skills in M&E systems and services.
  • Proven experience in managing and executing tendering and evaluation activities for new projects.
  • At least 10 years of proven track record in people-management and development experience and capabilities.
  • Excellent problem-solving, project management, analytical, communication, interpersonal and stakeholders management skills.
  • Able to overcome challenges, adapt and work in fast-paced, dynamic and goal-oriented environment are key success factors for this job role.
