We are looking for an experienced and driven Deputy Head for Quality to support the leadership of the function and ensure the highest standards of product quality, regulatory compliance and operational risk management across our operations and key markets.

The Role

  • Support the Head of Quality & Regulatory Affairs in leading QA/QC/RA functions and ensuring compliance with applicable global regulatory and quality standards.
  • Maintain and continuously improve Quality Management Systems (QMS) aligned to GMP, ISO, and ICH requirements.
  • Ensure timely release of raw materials and finished products through efficient quality operations.
  • Review and approve QA/QC and GMP documentation, including validation/qualification, deviations and change controls.
  • Manage quality metrics (such as deviations, OOS/OOT, product complaints, CAPA effectiveness, and supplier performance).
  • Provide technical support on quality issues, product lifecycle management, and regulatory affairs activities, including product registrations and compliance requirements.
  • Drive a strong quality culture and cross-functional collaboration with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, R&D, and Regulatory teams to ensure product quality and compliance.
  • Lead or support inspections, supplier qualifications, and internal audit programme, and oversee timely and effective CAPA closure.
  • Lead Quality Management Review and escalate critical risks to Senior Management.
  • Build team capability and support development of Quality talent.

The Individual

  • Degree in Pharmacy, Chemistry, Microbiology, Engineering, or related discipline.
  • Minimum 15 years of Quality or regulatory experience in pharmaceutical or healthcare industry, with proven track record in regulatory inspections, QMS leadership, and cross-functional stakeholder management.
  • Leadership experience with ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels.
  • Strong knowledge of GMP, ISO, ICH, and regulatory framework.
  • Possesses analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
