An European Corporate Bank is hiring an AVP - Deputy Head of Finance in Singapore. DO NOTE NO WORK VISA SPONSORSHIP IS PROVIDED
Main Responsibilities:-
- Close collaboration and support Head of Finance in the overall running of all financial functions including internal and external reporting requirements
- Overseeing monthly financial closing, P&L reporting and ensuring daily compliance with MAS regulatory requirements.
- Ensure and maintain integrity and accuracy of accounting data and records and report exceptions.
- Involve in financial planning activities including annual budget and review of monthly management P&L reports.
- Involve in annual corporate tax filing and FATCA/ CRS reporting matters.
- Helps in assessing in new products and advise on tax, accounting structures and systems, if required.
- Ensure proper discharge of accounting and finance related services and duties under any Service Level Agreement entered by Singapore with other businesses in Asia.
- Knowledgeable about Corporate Banking businesses, works closely with local and head office accounting rules, tax laws and policies.
Main Requirements:-
- Qualified Accountant with a degree in Accountancy or its equivalent from a recognised University
- 10 years of experience in working in Finance department in a bank or similar function in a financial institution.
- Analytical, good verbal,and written communication skills, good problem- solving ability, hands-on, IT savvy and able to handle multiple systems.
