As one of Asia's largest fitness and wellness groups, the Singapore brand focuses on fitness and yoga, with operations in both Singapore and Taiwan, and continues to expand its regional footprint in the industry
You will be joining the True Group's finance team based in Singapore, while working closely with its counterparts in Hong Kong and Shenzhen, China.
Responsibilities:
- Implements financial and accounting best practices and oversees critical accounting procedures to ensure legal compliance with financial reporting and banking regulations.
- Deals financial matters for public listed companies and supports external audit coordination by providing accurate data.
- Leads planning and forecasting activities with business partners to achieve investment and accounting goals.
- Reviews financial reports and advises corrective action accordingly.
- Collects and analyzes data to prepare financial forecasts and suggest strategies to address challenges and leverage strengths.
- Analyzes revenue, expenses, cash flows, and balance sheets to optimize profitability and transparency.
- Reviews and processes payments made to clients, vendors and other business partners.
- Due diligence to cut costs without impairing the long-term financial health of the organization.
- Maintains an accurate filing and record-keeping system for all financial statements and company documents.
- Executes revisions and updates to procedures, policies, and systems to facilitate the expansion and scaling of the business and increase transparency and compliance.
Requirements:
- A master's degree in accounting or finance
- Candidates need 7-10 years of relevant working experience
- Team player with strong interpersonal and communication skills, and willingness to collaborate across multiple teams.
- Proficient in verbal and written English and Mandarin is an advantage, as the role involves preparing reports and communicating with Mandarin-speaking stakeholders.
