We specialize in fuel oil and bunker trading, supply chain management, shipping logistics, and related energy services across the Asia-Pacific region.

Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Deputy General Manager (DGM) to join our senior leadership team. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the General Manager in strategic planning, business development, and day-to-day management of operations. The DGM will oversee multiple departments and drive business growth, compliance, operational excellence, and regional market development.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist the General Manager in overseeing overall business operations, strategic planning, and performance management.
  • Lead and supervise departments such as trading, operations, finance, compliance, and administration.
  • Identify business opportunities and support market expansion initiatives in the Asia-Pacific region.
  • Manage and strengthen relationships with key partners, suppliers, regulatory authorities, and corporate stakeholders.
  • Drive efficiency, risk control, and ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
  • Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and reporting to ensure profitability and sustainability.
  • Represent the company in regional meetings, conferences, and industry events when required
  • Develop internal talent and build a high-performing, collaborative team culture.

Requirements

  • At least a Master's degree or above in Business Administration, Economics, Energy, or related disciplines.
  • At least 10 years of relevant experience in the energy, commodities, or oil & gas industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior management role.
  • Strong knowledge of fuel oil or bunker trading, operations, and logistics is highly preferred.
  • Proven leadership skills with a strategic mindset and hands-on management approach.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English proficiency in Mandarin is an advantage due to frequent coordination with China-based counterparts.
