Deputy General Manager

A reputed multi-national Japanese steel trading company, located in the Central Business District, is seeking a dynamic and driven team player to enhance our sales force in a challenging and fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
. Spearhead sales initiatives for steel products while sustaining relationships with existing clientele.

. Identify and cultivate new business prospects to broaden our customer base.

. Commit to fulfilling customer requirements and surpassing expectations by fostering strong relationships.

. Stay abreast of industry trends and competitor activities.

. Prepare and present proposals and business reports in Japanese.

. Play a pivotal role in advancing the company's growth and profitability.

Job Requirements:
. A Bachelor's degree in Business or a related discipline.

. Comprehensive understanding of the steel industry and an in-depth knowledge of various steel products.

. Minimum 10 years of professional experience in a Japanese business environment, specifically in a role involving trading within the steel industry or similar sectors.

. An established business network within the Asia Pacific markets, with a strong emphasis on Japanese markets and an adept understanding of cultural and business norms.

. Excellent in Japanese (JLPT N1 level) and proficient in English, capable of professional-level communication in both languages.

. Proficient use of Microsoft Office suite.

. Exceptional communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills.

. Willingness and ability to travel as needed for business purposes.
