Job Responsibilities
Financial Accounting & Reporting
- Manage the full set of accounts for the Singapore entity in compliance with Singapore Financial Reporting Standards (SFRS) and company policies.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including management reports and analysis for headquarters.
- Handle month-end and year-end closing activities, including balance sheet reconciliations and journal entries.
- Coordinate intercompany transactions and reconciliations with related entities.
- Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, bankers, and company secretary on statutory matters.
Tax & Compliance
- Prepare and support corporate income tax, GST, and withholding tax filings in accordance with Singapore regulations.
- Ensure compliance with local statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Support internal controls, compliance reviews, and audit processes.
Budgeting & Business Support
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
- Provide financial support to management for operational and strategic decision-making.
- Support process improvements and finance system enhancement initiatives.
Job Requirements
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline.
- Professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA Australia, CA Singapore, or equivalent will be an advantage.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant finance and accounting experience, including experience handling full set of accounts in Singapore.
- Experience in multinational or cross-border business environments will be an added advantage.
Technical Knowledge
- Good understanding of SFRS, Singapore tax regulations, and GST requirements.
- Familiarity with intercompany transactions and financial reporting processes.
- Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
