Motherswork is part of the The Parentinc Group, a growing ecosystem of trusted parenting brands serving families across Southeast Asia. We support parents through products, content, and community - combining purpose with practical solutions for everyday life.
We are scaling, evolving, and building for the future. That means we need finance professionals who don't just report numbers, but help shape how the business grows.
We are looking for a Deputy Finance Manager who enjoys both structure and momentum. This is a role for someone who likes clean reconciliations, clear reporting, and well-run processes - but also understands that in a growing company, things are not always perfectly built yet.
You will play a key role in bringing clarity to our financial operations while partnering with teams across the business to support smarter decisions.
This is not a purely back-office position. It is a hands-on role with real visibility and influence.
Keep the Financial Engine Running Smoothly
Manage month-end closes so reporting is accurate, timely, and dependable.
Maintain balance sheet integrity and ensure reconciliations are always in good shape.
Support preparation of financial statements aligned with statutory and group requirements.
Turn Data Into Insight
Support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Monitor performance against budget and explain what is driving the numbers.
Help translate operational activity into clear financial visibility.
Strengthen How We Work
Improve finance processes so they scale with the business.
Reduce manual work and introduce smarter, more efficient workflows.
Build structure where needed without slowing things down.
Keep Us Audit-Ready
Coordinate external audits, tax submissions, and compliance matters.
Ensure documentation and controls are robust and organised.
Partner With the Business
Work closely with Supply Chain, Commercial, and Marketing teams.
Provide financial perspective to operational decisions.
Support and guide junior members of the finance team.
You are someone who:
Has between 4-10 years of finance experience, ideally in SME, retail, FMCG, e-commerce or Audit environment.
Understands both accounting fundamentals and the realities of running a business.
Is comfortable being hands-on and solving problems directly.
Enjoys improving systems and making things work better.
Can balance attention to detail with an understanding of the bigger picture.
Has strong Excel skills and experience with ERP or accounting systems.
Communicates clearly and collaborates well with non-finance stakeholders.
Financial reporting that leadership can rely on without second-guessing.
Audits that run smoothly because everything is prepared and in order.
Clear visibility into performance and cost drivers.
Finance processes that are structured, scalable, and practical.
A finance team that is seen as a partner to the business, not just a function.
You will be joining a purpose-driven company at an important stage of growth, where your work directly contributes to building a stronger, more sustainable organisation.
This is a role with ownership, visibility, and the opportunity to help shape how finance supports the next phase of the business.
