RainbowAsia (official name: Rainbow Youth Asia Ltd) is a Singapore-based non-profit organisation aiming to build a Singapore where youth can thrive in a supportive and equitable community. Programs and initiatives align to one or more of the following pillars: Safe Harbour, Leadership Incubator and Ecosystem Builder.
Role Description
These
voluntary leadership roles are ideal for individuals who are passionate about youth development, community leadership, and nonprofit operations.
1 - Deputy Executive Director (Operations)
- Support organisational planning and operational management
- Oversee internal systems, workflows, and governance processes
- Coordinate volunteers, logistics, and administrative functions
- Assist with partnerships, stakeholder engagement, and organisational development
- Support fundraising, reporting, and strategic implementation
- Work closely with the Executive Director and administration team on long-term sustainability
2- Deputy Executive Director (Programs)
- Oversee the planning and execution of community programmes and initiatives
- Support programme strategy, development, and evaluation
- Coordinate facilitators, volunteers, and programme teams
- Ensure programmes align with organisational mission and impact goals
- Support youth engagement, mentorship, and leadership development efforts
- Work with the Executive Director to expand programme reach and sustainability
Qualifications
- Strong leadership, team management, and organizational development skills
- Effective communication, collaborative problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
- Strategic project management and budgeting expertise
- Proven experience in program evaluation, planning, and implementation
- Ability to operate effectively in a hybrid work environment in Singapore
- Comfortable to work with all segments of youth community (primarily LGBTQ+ identifying) in Singapore
Roles are
NOT remunerated as the organisation is purely volunteer-run. Applicants must be based in Singapore. Shortlisted applicants will be invited for a conversation with the Executive Director. A subsequent meeting with the Board Members will take place upon suitability.
