Overall Job Purpose
Plan, manage, implement and supervise development projects.
[What you will be working on]
Key Responsibilities
- Work with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners on development projects from project inception to handover.
- Responsible for project management for entire project life-cycle.
- Develop detailed implementation programme and strategy.
- Develop project brief, requirements, technical specifications for the procurement of consultancy and construction contracts.
- Identify project interface issues and work with all interfacing parties to develop mitigation measures.
- Identify project risks and implement necessary mitigation measures.
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget and meets the specified quality standards.
- Able to work independently in leading project teams as well as able to work in highly collaborative environment.
- Manage project team dynamics and assign appropriate tasks to the relevant team members.
- Facilitate and organise meetings with internal stakeholders and external agencies/partners.
- Conduct regular site visit/inspections and to report on quality and progress.
[What we are looking for]
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Possess minimum of 20 years post-graduate relevant experience in the construction industry.
- Required to have project management experience in multi-disciplinary infrastructure or building projects and have managed construction contracts of at least S$150million.
- Prior experience as Superintending Officer or Superintending Officer's representative for PSSCOC contracts would be an advantage.
- Possess good written and communication skill in English.
This is a 3-year contract with the possibility of renewal.
