about the job

As the Deputy HR Director, you will be responsible for hiring the right talent, and developing and implementing effective HR initiatives to enhance performance and talent development within the organization, as well as overseeing the employer branding of the organization

  • Sourcing, assessing and hiring quality talent to meet organization's business needs
  • Managing and leading processes relating to the recruitment cycle, which encompasses executing sourcing strategies, collaborating with various businesses and stakeholders to determine talent needs
  • Manage resourcing of all talent, which encompasses senior relationship roles, academy hiring as well as administrative and research hiring.
  • Lead and drive the talent acquisition strategy in accordance to business objectives, needs and current and emerging employment market trends.
  • Assists in conducting candidate assessment and interviews, as well as onboarding & offboarding processes
  • Partners closely with the HOD on planning and executing talent acquisition strategies, and track hiring performance metrics
  • Organizes career fairs and recruitment drives
  • Develop and implement tangible measures to support and execute effective talent retention strategies and meaningful career development
  • Implementing new employee experience initiatives that assists in the retention of employees
  • Manage and organize employee engagement activities to maintain a favorable and positive organizational culture
  • Lead and drive a pipeline strategy to maintain a good time to fill indicator or to attract talents for Management Associate Programmes for businesses
  • Partners closely with government agencies, corporate partners and institutions for outreach or offering internships
  • Design and execute strong employer branding and recruitment campaigns to build brand advocacy
  • Responsible for overall talent acquisition budget and spending
  • Other duties assigned

about the manager/team

Reporting to the CHRO directly, you will play an integral role in driving the end to end recruitment process efficiently and implementing effective talent acquisition strategies to attract the right talents, ensuring that succession and growth plans are in line with the company's culture and values.


skills and experience required

To be a successful candidate, you should possess at least a Bachelor Degree, within areas of Human Resources, or related disciplines, with at least 20 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in HR business partnering or talent acquisition. Ideally, one should be proficient in recruitment strategies, with a strong proven track record in implementing effective talent acquisition strategies and has an excellent understanding of labor law and statutory requirements.
