About the Role
We are looking for a commercially driven professional to lead leasing performance, revenue optimisation and tenant curation across a dynamic mixed-use lifestyle destination. This role sits at the intersection of commercial strategy, deal-making and precinct management.
Key Responsibilities
Leasing Strategy & Revenue Optimisation
- Develop and execute leasing strategies across asset classes (F&B, retail, pop-ups, experiential spaces) aligned with precinct positioning
- Set pricing frameworks, lease structures and commercial terms to optimise revenue yield
- Identify new revenue streams through innovative space utilisation and flexible leasing models
- Monitor occupancy, rental performance and revenue targets implement corrective strategies as needed
Strategic Partnerships & Deal Execution
- Drive the full leasing cycle from prospecting to deal closure
- Identify and secure suitable tenants, brands and operators aligned with precinct objectives
- Negotiate lease terms and structure deals including non-traditional partnerships and revenue-sharing arrangements
- Maintain an active pipeline of prospective tenants and partners
Tenant Mix & Precinct Curation
- Curate a differentiated tenant ecosystem to enhance footfall and visitor spending
- Balance anchor tenants, experiential concepts and supporting retail/F&B offerings
- Continuously refresh the tenant mix based on performance data, trends and visitor profiles
- Collaborate with the Events team to ensure synergy between tenants and precinct programming
Market & Portfolio Insights
- Conduct market research and competitor benchmarking to identify emerging retail, F&B and lifestyle trends
- Analyse occupancy, sales and footfall data to inform leasing strategies and space planning
- Provide recommendations on rent adjustments, lease renewals and space reconfigurations
- Collaborate with commercial and finance teams on regular portfolio performance reports and forecasts
Skills Set
- Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in commercial leasing, business development or real estate asset management
- Strong track record in F&B, retail, venue or mixed-use precinct leasing
Critical Skills
- Team Leadership: Proven ability to build and grow teams from the ground up, selecting talent aligned with organisational objectives
- Adaptability & Strategic Thinking: Comfortable operating in high-ambiguity environments able to shape processes, define outcomes and contribute to cross-functional discussions
- Hands-On Execution: Willingness to be operationally involved in day-to-day tasks while maintaining a strategic lens
