[What the role is]
Lead a team at IMDA that safeguards the security and resilience of Singapore's digital infrastructure.
[What you will be working on]
- Lead a team of technical professionals to shape policies, programmes and security and resilience outcomes for the info-comm and media sector
- Apply advanced technical/cybersecurity expertise:
- to problem solve
- proactively identify and remediate risks
- develop regulations, standards and frameworks for critical digital infrastructure
- drive innovation in threat detection and response
- Conduct operations:
- RA, VA, PT, TH in collaboration with operators, partners and stakeholders
- Coordinate with threat intelligence teams to enhance detection and response
- Support incident response efforts, as necessary
- Develop capabilities:
- of IMDA officers and partners in cybersecurity for digital infrastructure,
- focusing on telco/5G, cloud for a start
- Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders in the cybersecurity ecosystem, including government agencies, industry partners, and international organizations
[What we are looking for]
- Background in Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Information Security, or related fields
- Minimum 12-15 years of experience in cybersecurity, with significant exposure to emerging technologies
- Expert-level experience in threat hunting, threat intelligence, and incident response in domains such as security and 5G security
- Certification in advanced threat hunting, incident response, or digital forensics (e.g., SANS GDAT, GCFA, or equivalent) preferred
- Proven track record in developing and implementing threat detection strategies and cybersecurity policies and frameworks
- Leadership
- at least 5 years of supervisory experience
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
Position will be commensurate with experience.
