Key responsibilities

Work closely with CRO and CEO, together with members of the local and HK team and other internal functions to manage the Risk division within the company.

You will help secure credit approvals, evaluate new products and transactions, and provide well-founded recommendations to the Chief Risk Officer . Additionally, you will assist in structuring transactions, reviewing legal terms, and offering general advice and analysis

You will manage annual and new reviews of counterparties, stay updated on portfolio developments, and address ad-hoc credit requests.

You will also maintain strong connections across the structured trade/ trade finance industry to stay informed of the latest news and developments.

You will need to formulate a comprehensive risk management framework (covering both financial and non-financial risk) and determine risk appetite in accordance with the company's strategic plan.

You will help develop and improve business risk management, control systems, and related processes establish risk assessment, monitoring, early warning, and prevention mechanisms. Other areas would be to oversee product and business process design innovations in risk management, issuing risk identification, assessment, and management plans.

Role requirements

Has a bachelor's degree with at least 12 years of credit risk, structured trade finance or commodities financing experience

Possess commodities trading, general banking or good trade finance knowledge

Good analytical ability, highly motivated and willing to take on challenges

Language Proficiency: Fluency in Mandarin will be an added bonus

A team player who is also able to work independently with strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills

Strong stakeholder collaboration skills.

Strong team player who enjoys working in multicultural, dynamic, technological and international environment
