Responsibilities
- Provide expert advice on workplace safety and health matters for construction projects. Conduct site safety audits, inspections, and enforce safety regulations. Organize and lead corporate safety training sessions and health promotional events. Participate in Project Safety Reviews and contribute articles related to workplace safety for internal publications. Develop new corporate safety initiatives using data analytics from past incidents and near misses. Conduct research on the latest safety and health developments and advancements in construction technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering. Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in construction safety, ideally within large-scale projects as a registered Workplace Safety and Health Officer. Strong presentation and communication skills. Proven interpersonal skills. Candidates who are not registered Workplace Safety and Health Officers must be willing to pursue the WSQ Specialist Diploma in Workplace Safety & Health (Level C). Familiarity with data analytics and programming languages is preferred.
