NTT DATA Singapore is seeking a skilled Deployment / Implementation Engineer with strong expertise in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Red Hat OpenShift to support Day 1 delivery for enterprise customers. The role involves solution design, technical consultation, and hands-on implementation of container platforms and supporting infrastructure.
You will work closely with customers, architects, and internal delivery teams to design and deploy scalable, secure, and production-ready OpenShift environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Day 1 deployment and implementation of Red Hat OpenShift platforms (on-premise, cloud, or hybrid)
- Perform solution design and architecture aligned to customer requirements and best practices
- Provide technical consultation during pre-delivery and delivery phases
- Install, configure, and integrate:Red Hat OpenShiftRed Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)Supporting infrastructure components (networking, storage, security)
- Collaborate with architects, project managers, and operations teams to ensure successful delivery
- Develop and maintain deployment documentation, design documents, and runbooks
- Conduct knowledge transfer sessions and handover to operations teams
- Troubleshoot and resolve implementation issues during deployment
- Ensure solutions meet security, performance, and availability standards
Required Skills & Experience
- Strong hands-on experience with Red Hat OpenShift deployment and configuration
- Solid knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL)
- Experience in container platforms, Kubernetes, and Docker
- Understanding of enterprise infrastructure (compute, storage, networking)
- Experience delivering Day 1 implementations in customer environments
- Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and DevOps practices
- Ability to engage customers and provide technical consultation
- Strong documentation and communication skills
Preferred / Good to Have
- Red Hat certifications (e.g. RHCSA, RHCE, OpenShift certifications)
- Experience with public cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Exposure to automation tools (Ansible, Terraform)
- Experience in enterprise or system integrator environments
