Job Description

A leading technology solutions provider in Singapore is seeking a Department Manager for their Turf and Irrigation division. This pivotal role offers you the opportunity to take full responsibility for the performance and profitability of the Parts and Service department, overseeing a diverse team and driving operational success across sales, service, and administration.

What youll do:

As Department Manager for Turf and Irrigation, you will be entrusted with end-to-end oversight of the Parts & Service departments commercial performance. Your day-to-day responsibilities will see you collaborating with senior leaders on strategic planning while guiding your teams towards achieving ambitious sales targets. You will nurture long-term customer relationships by delivering exceptional after-sales supportensuring every interaction reflects the organisations commitment to quality.

  • Work closely with senior management to establish annual sales budgets, prepare strategic business plans, and implement regional sales initiatives that align with organisational goals.
  • Manage both sales and service teams to achieve ambitious targets for revenue growth, profit margins, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency across all non-Golf product lines.
  • Promote assigned products by identifying new business opportunities, increasing sales to existing customers through up-selling and cross-selling strategies, and reactivating dormant accounts.
  • Monitor costs, prices, margins, and market trends to ensure maximum profitability for both performance and non-performance parts while conducting regular competitor analysis.
  • Develop robust relationships with internal stakeholders, external customers, suppliers, and principals to gather market intelligence and maintain competitiveness within the sector.

What you bring:

To excel as Department Manager for Turf & Irrigation, your background should reflect substantial hands-on experience in after-sales operationsideally gained within technical or engineering environments where customer satisfaction is paramount.

  • 8-10 years proven experience in after-sales operations within a customer service environment is essential for understanding complex workflows. Background in automotive is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated track record of leading parts and service teams with at least 3-5 years experience in spare parts sales or similar functions is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms for managing opportunities supports efficient pipeline tracking and customer engagement strategies.
  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities combined with strong analytical skills enable you to prioritise tasks effectively under pressure.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of sales contract terms as well as established sales processes ensures compliance with company policies at all times.
  • Competence in budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting allows you to contribute meaningfully to strategic planning discussions.
