Job Responsibilities
- Drive departmental sales targets and KPIs through effective planning and execution.
- Monitor sales trends, inventory levels, and product performance to maximize profitability.
- Implement promotional strategies and seasonal campaigns in collaboration with the merchandising team.
- Ensure excellent customer service standards are consistently delivered.
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve complaints professionally to maintain brand reputation.
- Create a welcoming shopping environment that enhances customer loyalty.
- Supervise, coach, and motivate staff to achieve departmental goals.
- Conduct regular training sessions to enhance product knowledge and service skills.
- Manage staff scheduling, performance appraisals, and career development.
- Oversee daily operations including merchandising, stock replenishment, and visual display standards.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and safety regulations.
- Work closely with other departments to coordinate cross-functional initiatives.
- Monitor stock levels, conduct regular audits, and manage shrinkage control.
- Collaborate with the purchasing team to ensure timely replenishment and optimal stock mix.
- Assist in budget planning and cost management to achieve financial objectives.
Requirement:
- Diploma/Degree in Business, Retail Management, or related field.
- Minimum 4 years of retail supervisory/management experience.
- Good leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to drive sales and manage operational efficiency.
- Customer-oriented mindset with problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office and retail management systems.
