About the Role
We are seeking a Dental Surgery Assistant with a positive attitude to join our clinic team. Both experienced candidates and individuals without prior experience who are keen to learn are welcome to apply, as training will be provided.
This role plays an important role in supporting dental procedures and ensuring patients receive safe, comfortable, and quality care.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures by providing chairside support, instrument handling and preparation of materials
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment according to clinic infection control standards
- Manage patient records and appointment scheduling
- Greet and attend to patients in a professional manner, ensuring a comfortable experience
- Maintain clean, organized and well-stocked treatment rooms ready for use.
- Support administrative and daily clinic operations as required
Requirements
- Responsible, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Able to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
- Good teamwork and communication skills
- Commitment to hygiene, infection control, and clinic protocols
- Attentive, proactive, and able to anticipate the dentist's needs during procedures
- Prior dental or clinic experience is an advantage.
- Minimum GCE N/O Levels NITEC in Dental Assisting or healthcare certification preferred.
- Positive attitude and genuine interest in the dental healthcare and patient care
- Training will be provided for suitable candidates without experience.
Working Hours
- Full-time: 4.5-day work week (Monday-Saturday, Saturday half-day1 weekday off per week, plus Sundays and Public Holidays off)
- Permanent Part-time: Flexible working hours available ((to be discussed based on availability and clinic needs)
