We are an established two-location dental practice seeking a confident and emotionally steady Senior Clinic Manager to lead our team of approximately 25-30 staff across clinical, nursing, customer service and administrative functions.
This is a leadership position reporting directly to the Managing Director, responsible for people leadership, roster governance, operational excellence and change management during a major transformation year.
Key Responsibilities
People & Leadership
- Lead and supervise clinical and front desk operations
- Coach team leaders and ensure good coordination between clinical and front office teams
- Manage onboarding, training, performance appraisal and disciplinary processes
- Maintain professional, respectful and high-performing workplace culture
Roster Governance
- Generate and manage weekly master roster across two clinics (6-chair and 3-chair)
- Ensure fair allocation of shifts, evenings and Saturdays
Operations & Compliance
- Oversee day-to-day clinic operations and ensure smooth workflow
- Streamline counter and clinical workflows and SOPs to maintain high service standards and improve daily operational efficiency.
- Lead dental assistant training and performance reviews to ensure all clinical staff meet high technical and safety standards.
- Maintain professional, legal and regulatory compliance (MOH and statutory requirements)
- Ensure high standards of hygiene, infection control and workplace safety
- Ensure that all equipment are in good working condition
- Ensure that the facilities, furniture and fittings are in good condition
- Manage end-to-end technical operations, including hardware troubleshooting, electrical outage response protocols, and maintain a comprehensive inventory of all clinic devices and appliances.
- Oversee inventory and purchasing processes
- Procurement of dental equipment
Change & Project Management
- Lead automation initiatives
- Lead SOP improvements and workflow redesign
- Coordinate operational continuity during renovation
- Business expansion
Required competencies and certifications
- Past clinical work experience in dentistry is a requirement
- Minimum 2 years managing teams of more than 20 people is essential
Preferred competencies and qualifications
- Experience as a medical nurse in a clinical setting may be considered
- Polytechnic Diploma or Degree (Healthcare / Business / Hospitality preferred)
- Proven experience handling complex rostering
- Strong conflict resolution and emotional regulation skills
- Decisive yet respectful leadership style
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Fluency in local mother tongue is preferred
- Must work at least one evening and all Saturdays
