Key Responsibilities
- Post fixture Claims handling in Ship-Broking house.
- Ensuring all time bar notifications are passed on and claims are submitted within the contracted time limit and as per Charter Party clauses.
- Attend/mitigate demurrage and post-fixture claims disputes/calculations.
- Facilitate Owners and Charterers to achieve agreement of demurrage and post-fixture claims.
- Send reminders to Charterers to ensure timely settlement of claims.
- Basic knowledge of shipping operation is preferred.
- Other written Charter Parties duties as and when needed.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Maritime Studies/Shipping or Oil/Petroleum Trading industry/ Logistics/Supply chain.
- Similar experience dealing with claims and demurrage would be an advantage.
- Candidates without experience but with relevant Diploma or Degree are welcome to apply.
- Problem solving, meticulous and detail oriented.
- Active team player, self-starter, and multitasker.
- Motivated and ability to work under pressure.
- Candidate should have good commitment, integrity and dedication.
