Our client is a Trading MNC company, one of the leading players in the Oil & Gas sector. Due to business needs, they are now recruiting a Demurrage Analyst to be part of their team for ongoing transformation projects. They are located in the Central easily accessible.
Role Description of Demurrage Analyst:
- Oversee demurrage exposure for Gasoline desk trade, analyzing and negotiating payables and receivables.
- Prepare demurrage computations and submit timely reports to relevant counterparts.
- Ensure prompt collection of outstanding claims and track incoming funds.
- Collaborate closely with cargo operators for efficient claims file management and documentation.
- Generate weekly/monthly demurrage status reports and handle monthly demurrage accruals.
- Coordinate with the contract desk on purchase and sales contracts, focusing on delivery nomination, Laytime, and demurrage clauses.
- Verify and endorse freight invoices for approval/payment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant fields.
- Minimum 1 year of relevant demurrage experience in oil & gas industry.
- Good communication skills and able to work in fast paced environment.
