Regional Demand & Supply Planning Executive
Our client is looking for a Demand & Supply Planning Executive to support regional operations across multiple markets. The role offers the opportunity to manage end-to-end demand planning, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to process improvements and SAP-related initiatives within a dynamic FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end demand planning, combining statistical forecasting with commercial inputs
- Develop and refine forecasts using historical data, market trends, and business insights
- Include demand drivers such as promotions, tenders, NPIs, product phase-in/phase-out, and EOL planning
- Maintain accurate SKU and customer data to support reliable forecasting
- Track forecast accuracy and variance, identifying root causes and recommending improvements
- Work with Sales and Marketing to incorporate market intelligence and commercial plans into forecasts
- Translate commercial and portfolio plans into clear signals for supply and operations
- Support resolution of demand-related issues, such as forecast gaps or inventory risks, through cross-team collaboration
- Contribute to continuous improvement of forecasting processes, tools, and data quality
- Coordinate with the Supply Chain team to turn demand plans into actionable supply, inventory, and logistics plans
- Support supply chain initiatives, including SAP system enhancements and third-party warehouse integration
- Monitor and share key supply chain metrics, such as inventory turnover, service levels, and on-time delivery
- Collaborate across regions to ensure smooth execution of supply plans and alignment with business priorities
Requirements
- Degree or diploma with at least 5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or related roles, preferably within FMCG.
- Experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry is an advantage
- Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP
- Strong proficiency in demand forecasting methodologies, statistical analysis, and business analytics
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and/or Power BI, with the ability to manage large datasets and complex analyses
- Proficiency in Mandarin to effectively collaborate with stakeholders in the China market
