Job Description

Job Summary:

The Demand & Supply Planning Executive is responsible for owning the end-to-end demand planning process for the international business (AA, EMEA, APAC), ensuring accurate, unbiased forecasts through statistical modeling and close collaboration with Sales, Marketing, and Supply Chain teams. The role also require to work with existing supply chain team to ensure demand plans are translated into feasible supply, inventory, and logistics execution, supporting SAP and third-party warehouse operations.

Responsibilities:

Demand Planning (80%)

  • Own and manage the end-to-end demand planning process for the international business, including baseline statistical forecasting and enrichment with commercial inputs.

  • Develop, review, and continuously adjust demand forecasts using historical sales data, statistical models, market trends, and business intelligence.

  • Incorporate key demand drivers such as promotions, tenders, new product introductions (NPI), product phase-in/phase-out, and end-of-life (EOL) planning into forecasts.

  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of SKU master data and customer databases to support reliable forecasting and reporting.

  • Analyze forecast accuracy, bias, and variance identify root causes and implement corrective actions to improve forecast performance.

  • Collaborate closely with Sales and Marketing teams to integrate market intelligence, customer insights, and commercial plans into demand forecasts.

  • Translate commercial and portfolio plans into clear demand signals and supply requirements for downstream planning and execution.

  • Lead resolution of demand-related issues (e.g., forecast gaps, shortages, excess inventory risks) through cross-functional coordination.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance demand planning processes, tools, data quality, and best-practice adoption.

Supply Planning (20%)

  • Work closely with the existing Supply Chain team in China to translate approved demand plans into actionable supply, inventory, and logistics requirements.

  • Provide data-driven analysis and planning support for supply chain operations, including SAP implementation, system enhancements, and third-party warehouse integration initiatives.

  • Monitor, analyze, and share key supply chain KPIs such as inventory turnover, service level, on-time delivery, and overall stock health with relevant stakeholders.

  • Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders across regions to support smooth execution of supply plans and ensure alignment with international business division strategies.

Requirement:

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in demand planning, supply chain, or related roles within the FMCG industry.

  • Experience in the Food & Beverage (F&B) industry is highly preferred.

  • Hands-on experience with ERP/MRP systems, preferably SAP Strong proficiency in demand forecasting methodologies, statistical analysis, and business analytics.

  • Advanced skills in MS Excel and/or Power BI ability to manage large datasets and complex analyses.

  • Solid understanding of supply chain processes, demand planning concepts, and inventory management principles.

  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.

  • High attention to detail with the ability to manage pressure and tight timelines.

  • Proactive, solution-oriented, and able to drive improvements rather than maintain status quo.

  • Strong collaboration skills and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional, results-driven environment.

  • Adequate communication skills (listening, reading, writing) in Chinese, to liaise with HQ counterparts in China.
