Based in Singapore, Pernod Ricard Singapore distributes our brands across the Singapore Domestic market and South-East Asia Wholesale Channels. As a key part of Pernod Ricard's digital transformation towards becoming a Platform Company, the successful implementation of Collaborative Business Planning (CBP) and a high-performing Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process are crucial for our success.

Position Summary

The incumbent is responsible for the Singapore Cluster (Singapore Domestic & SEA Wholesale). In our fast-paced environment, you'll drive accurate, consensus-based forecasts and be a critical contributor in key S&OP cycles (Pre-DRM & DRM). This position is vital for informing inventory optimization, maximizing business opportunities, ensuring product availability, and minimizing waste. You'll achieve this through strong collaboration, continuous improvement, and by supporting strategic initiatives like allocations and NPD launches.

The Demand Planner will be accountable for:

Lead Demand Forecasting & Analysis:

  • Develop and maintain accurate, rolling 18-month demand forecasts for a diverse product portfolio, leveraging existing datasets and close collaboration with commercial teams.

  • Analyze past sales and marketing activities (discounts, product launches, national consumer campaigns, channel activities) to provide insights and improve forecast accuracy.

  • Monitor and report on forecast accuracy & bias KPIs, conduct root cause analysis for significant variances, and implement corrective actions with the team for continuous improvement.

Facilitate & Key Contributor for Pre-DRM/DRM sessions:

  • Lead and actively participate in the monthly Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle, specifically in Pre-DRM (Pre-Demand Review Meeting) and DRM (Demand Review Meeting), ensuring a consensus-driven demand plan by reconciling inputs from Sales, Marketing, and Finance.
  • Coordinate top-line sales forecasting in Anaplan with Finance and Supply Chain.

  • Support the S&OP Manager in the preparation of Executive S&OP meetings with the Management Committee.

Support Commercial & Operational Initiatives:

  • Coordinate and provide critical demand insights and forecasts for New Product Developments (NPDs) / restages, collaborating to include potential uplifts for promotional activities and baseline into bottom-up forecasts.
  • Support product allocation decisions during periods of supply constraints.
  • Coordinate with Commercial, Marketing, and Supply Chain to ensure in-market availability of new product launches, product restages, limited editions, and Value-Added Packs (VAPs).

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication:

  • Act as a key liaison between Sales, Marketing, Supply Planning, and Finance to ensure alignment of demand assumptions, market insights, and supply chain capabilities.

Process Enhancement & S&OP Maturity Development:

  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute to the evolution of demand planning tools, methodologies, and data integrity.
  • Champion and contribute to S&OP maturity development initiatives and projects (e.g., DP Excellence playbook, V2V Use Case Library/Value in S&OP, 18M/APW Concept, S&OP Meeting Templates, Risks & Opportunities Process, MC S&OP Playbook).
  • Support the integration of the Anaplan tool as a single source for business planning, liaising with Supply Chain, Finance, and IT to adapt the tool to user needs and key stakeholders.
  • Continuously review and adapt processes to align with the new CBP (Company Business Plan) vision.
  • Ensure compliance with established processes, respecting critical deadlines, while constantly recommending adaptations and improvements for operational efficiency.
