Job Description

Job Summary

We are seeking a demand Planner APAC to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing demand planning strategies to ensure optimal inventory levels and meet customer demand within the region.

The Demand Planner will work closely with APAC subsidiaries supply chain and product management teams, to make reliable demand forecast, analyze trends, and drive continuous improvement in forecasting accuracy.

Work Location: 158 Cecil Street

Work Hours: Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm

Responsibilities

  1. Implement PSI (purchase/sales/inventory) management policy to subsidiaries and ensure the policy executed to achieve a healthy inventory level
  2. Deploy the S&OP process, system and reports to all subsidiaries to improve the forecast accuracy and thereby the PSI management efficiency. Follow up on successful usage and continued training.
  3. Ensure that all the subsidiaries adhere to PSI process timeline and do the sales forecast and PSI submission on time and with high quality. Prepare the PSI summary report on a weekly basis.
  4. Provide regular reports and analysis on demand planning KPIs and performance metrics.
  5. Analyze the PSI and communicate with subsidiaries for the adjustment and approve the purchase requisition.
  6. Involve the digitalization tool requirement analysis, testing and training. Work with IT to fix issues raised by the subsidiaries.

Experience & Background &

  • Minimum 3 years working experience in Supply Chain planning and/or inventory management field
  • Must have working experience of global/region responsibility scope within APAC, SEA or equivalent.
  • Strong data analysis skills using MS Excel and/or Power BI.

Degree and Language &

  • Min. Bachelor degree in Supply Chain related field
  • Strong communication skills in English, both verbally and writing
  • Adequate communication skills (listening, reading, writing) in Chinese, due to the need to liaise with HQ counterparts native speakers based in China.

  • Strong analytical skills and proficiency in demand planning tools and software
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams from different countries and cultures
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
