Role Purpose
Own end‑to‑end delivery accountability for the UDP transformation program at Group level, ensuring predictable outcomes across multiple workstreams, vendors, and geographies, while acting as a senior partner to business and technology leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Overall Program Delivery Ownership
Own delivery governance for large, multi‑year, multi‑vendor transformation programs. Ensure delivery commitments on scope, timelines, quality, cost, and risk
- Drive execution discipline across multiple delivery pods and partners.
- Stakeholder & Executive Management
- Act as the primary delivery interface with Group leadership, CIO/CTO org, and business sponsors.
- Provide crisp, transparent reporting to SteerCo / ExCo forums.
- Manage escalations decisively and proactively.
- Delivery Governance & Operating Model
- Define and run delivery governance (cadence, RAID, dependencies, decisioning).
- Establish and enforce standard delivery practices across Bangalore‑based delivery heads.
- Ensure strong change control, benefits tracking, and outcome realization.
- Financial & Commercial Accountability
- Own delivery financials (budget adherence, margin, forecasting).
- Manage vendor commercials and delivery efficiency.
- Transformation & Modern Engineering
- Oversee delivery of data platform, integration, analytics, AI‑enabled use cases, and enterprise capabilities.
- Ensure alignment of delivery with Prudential's target architecture and long‑term platform strategy.
Experience & Profile
- 10-12+ years in delivery management, with 5+ years leading large transformation programs.
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science or any relevant IT discipline.
- Proven experience managing USD multi‑million programs with distributed delivery.
- Strong background in data platforms, cloud, analytics, and/or AI‑enabled programs (conceptual + applied understanding).
- Prior experience in financial services / insurance preferred.
- Strong presence, executive communication, and decision‑making ability.
