We are seeking a reliable and experienced Van Driver to join our team. The primary responsibility of this role is the safe and efficient delivery of automotive parts, including fragile windshields, to our customers. The ideal candidate will have excellent time management skills, a strong commitment to customer service, and a meticulous attention to detail to ensure the safe transport of all products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Vehicle Operation & Maintenance:
Safely operate a commercial delivery van.
Maintain a clean and orderly delivery vehicle.
Report any vehicle maintenance issues or mechanical problems promptly. - Delivery & Logistics:
Load and unload automotive parts and windshields, ensuring proper securing and handling to prevent damage during transit.
Follow a predetermined delivery route to ensure timely and efficient deliveries.
Verify all items against delivery invoices before leaving the warehouse and upon arrival at the customer's location.
Obtain signatures and confirmation from customers upon successful delivery.
Communicate with dispatch and management to report any delivery delays, issues, or discrepancies. - Customer Service:
Represent the company in a professional and courteous manner.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing any customer questions or concerns related to the delivery.
Maintain positive relationships with all customers. - Warehouse Duties:
Assist with warehouse duties, including pulling and preparing orders for delivery as needed.
Contribute to maintaining a clean and organized warehouse environment.
