Delivery Consultant

The Automation/Data & AI Solution Consultant is at the leading edge of digital transformation providing innovation solution architecture to customers using complex IT landscapes, helping shape the conversation with senior executives and building / creating new digital transformation solutions. The individual needs to have a real passion for AI, Intelligent Workflows and deep knowledge of IBM CloudPak as technology platform and will have practical hands-on experience of designing and delivering enterprise scale solutions for customers leveraging Garage method.

The Automation / Data & AI Solution Consultant should be able to lead discussions with customer technical decision makers and translate business requirements into secure, reliable, and highly available technology solutions that deliver real customer value. The person needs to be adept at managing constant business change, rapidly evolving requirements, adjustments in strategic direction, and keeping current on emerging technology solutions.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise:

• Experience of leading consultative/complex technical sales and deployment projects, architecture, design and implementation using Garage method for Automation
• Demonstrated excellence with consulting skills and presenting complex development topics to both business executive and technical personnel
• Proven track record of building deep technical relationships with senior executives and helping to build innovative cloud solutions in large or highly strategic accounts
• Automation Solutions Consultant - Professional qualification required
• The role holder is expected to be a subject matter expert in more than one of the following:
• - Diverse Automation and AI solutions including greenfield Automation technology solutions
• - IBM CloudPak platforms for AI and Intelligent workflow solutions

Preferred Professional and Technical Expertise:

• Expert level skills in Cloud to guide technical client-side architects on IBM Cloud strategy and solution best practices. This will aid clients to identify high value Cloud entry points (e.g. new applications, transforming existing applications or simply starting a Cloud sandbox that IBM helps them operationalize.)
• Expert level in Containerisation, Micro-Services and API development utilising Kubernetes platforms and RedHat OpenShift experience is preferred (architecture)
• Expert Level in Scripting (e.g. Python, PERL, or SHELL) and automation
• Expert Level in Agile development and project management methodologies
• Deep understanding of at least one of IBM, AWS,MS Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud as a PaaS offering including automation of deployment and containers
• Experience of Offering and Point of View developments
• Experienced skill level with contemporary engagement methods such as whiteboard, workshops, hands-on demo's, prototyping and Proof of Concepts
• Experienced level skills with Design Thinking, Agile and DevOps methods.
• Ability to position Cloud technology against industry solution requirements
• Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
