Key Responsibilities
- Own and continuously enhance the debit card product value proposition across key customer segments, including Emerging Affluent and Affluent customers.
- Identify customer needs, usage behaviors, and pain points to drive product enhancements and CVP (Customer Value Proposition) refresh initiatives.
- Conduct regular competitor analysis and market benchmarking to ensure product relevance, differentiation, and competitiveness in the payments landscape.
- Drive initiatives to increase debit card activation, usage frequency, and spend penetration across customer segments. Monitor portfolio performance metrics and identify opportunities to improve customer engagement, retention, and overall profitability.
- Support marketing-led campaigns and collaborate with internal marketing and benefits teams to design and execute strategies that encourage everyday card usage and customer engagement.
- Implement, manage, and optimize card benefits programs across both debit and credit card portfolios, ensuring alignment with overall product strategy and customer expectations.
- Support CVP refresh initiatives by identifying, evaluating, and rationalizing existing benefits, ensuring they remain relevant and aligned with target customer segments.
- Ensure all card benefits are clearly positioned and communicated as part of a cohesive and compelling overall card value proposition.
- Collaborate closely with network partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders to deliver new card features, enhancements, and system improvements.
- Support issuer-specific priorities while ensuring alignment with broader payments and cards strategy and business objectives.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of experience in cards product management, preferably in debit cards, payments, or consumer banking.
- Strong understanding of debit card functionality, payment processing flows, and relevant regulatory requirements.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders in a complex, matrixed organization.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and drive actionable insights.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and project management capabilities.
